DAY 01; Drive from Kampala to Padre Via Gulu-Kitgum highway.

With a morning breeze breakfast at your preferred hotel, our driver guide from Finfoot tours and consultants will drive you via Gulu-Kitgum highway with en-route stopover at Kafu river junction, Karuma bridge. Then later at Aruu falls you can enjoy a picnic lunch on one of the large rocks at the bottom of the waterfalls as you enjoy the cool breeze of Uganda – the Pearl of Africa

Rock Climbing/ hiking: Aruu rocks falls spread out over a series of numerous rocks forming different channels just as the fingers on your hand. The slippery cascading rocks were arranged by Mother Nature as a series of steps, which makes the rocks easy to hike.

Nature Walks: there are interesting nature walks around the falls, you can enjoy a tour of the area as you relax, stretch those muscles, and take in the beautiful scenery mother nature has to offer and even to the nearby communities and these are led by local guides. DAY 02; Visit local markets, Primate viewing, Bird watching and photography

Visit the local Market: there is a local market supplied with fresh produces from the local’s farms. There you will be able to buy some fresh fruits like mangoes, passion fruits, watermelons plus so many others when in season. Also, those interested in buying a souvenir like some pieces crafted art works, this will be the perfect place to visit.

Primate viewing: Have you heard of the vervet monkey? If not, you should see some here at Aruu waterfalls due to the nature of the area which is mostly forest and the encompassing area is inhabited by the Acholi and Langi people who are mainly peasant farmers, you can also use this opportunity to support them and their projects

Photography:  the waterfalls offer a very beautiful background for photographs and video recording, so anyone interested in doing so, this is a unique and perfect.

Bird watching: This particular part of Uganda is blessed with quite many bird species.
